Lego4Life

We would love to invite you to join us for the 5th annual Lego4Life drive, benefitting Children’s Medical Center Dallas. In 2018, after his baby sister spent the entire holiday season hospitalized for a heart transplant, 9 year old, Micah Peek - the oldest son of one of the Upheld Ministry’s board members - dreamed of how he could encourage other kids like him and his siblings, in similar situations. Things have changed six years later, but our heart remains to come alongside families experiencing hospitalization during December. Watch the video for the full story.

There are several ways you can participate:

  1. Our FAVORITE way for you to join us is to shop yourself! If you’re local to Dallas, take your kids shopping with you and we’ll arrange a pick up. If online shopping is your thing, contact us for a mailing address to receive your donations. Most importantly, talk about what they think it would be like to live in the hospital for a long time.

  2. Click the DONATE button and indicate a cash amount, of your choosing, toward Lego4Life. All donations are tax deductible. Upheld Ministries will use this money to send our selected “special shoppers” (siblings from bereaved families) on a Lego shopping spree to give away to the hospital.

Moms, this one is for you! We would love for you to join us at our next Gather Retreat.

Day in and day out, you work so hard, pouring it all out for your child. This retreat is designed so that you can get filled up again! Our goal is to give you a space to REST from the pressures of daily life, WORSHIP our Lord and CONNECT with other moms.

Mentorship

Does caring for your child feel lonely or isolating? Do you desire encouragement and connection from someone who understands?

We can help! Let us connect you with someone who gets it! Receive support and encouragement through your phone!

Meals

Help us serve meals to families in the hospital and those staying at the Ronald McDonald House. This is one way we can bless families, so that they have one less thing to think about during a hospitalization. It allows us to meet and connect with new families.

You can volunteer to serve with us, individually or as a group.

Race for Lily Grace

Join us to Race for Lily Grace and support Upheld Ministries!

This fundraiser was originally designed to help pay for the treatments and therapies for Lily Stigall. It is now our main fundraiser. The money raised through the Race for Lily Grace will be used to minister to parents of medically complex children and fund all of the activities we do to serve them.
